My role

I worked on both the club website and the gamification programme, from the initial analysis and writing the business case through to workshops, research and UX/UI design. My work connected the club’s commercial goals with the experience of buying tickets, following club news and taking part in the fan community.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

A ticket today.
A reason to return.

The website had a clear commercial objective: sell more tickets. It also needed to encourage visitors to read club news and explore Polonia’s social media channels.

The gamification programme addressed a longer-term goal: building a community of engaged supporters. Together, the two parts connected matchday decisions with participation in the life of the club.

02 / THE CLUB WEBSITE

Make the next match
easy to find.

MATCHDAY

From a fixture to a ticket

Upcoming matches sit near the top of the page, with direct ticket actions on the match cards. A persistent ticket entry in the navigation gives supporters another route to purchase.

BETWEEN MATCHES

Keep the club in the conversation

News cards bring recent stories into the homepage. A dedicated social media section gives visitors a clear route to follow the club beyond the website.

THE WIDER CLUB

More ways to get involved

Merchandise, the academy, club identity and player profiles sit alongside match information, connecting the immediate task of buying a ticket with the wider life of Polonia.

03 / THE GAMIFICATION PROGRAMME

Turn participation
into visible progress.

“Wielka Gra Polonii” brings activities, points and a leaderboard together. Supporters can see what earns points, where they stand and which actions have already been recorded.

01 / ACTIVITIES

A clear way to join in

The activity list shows actions and their point values. The scope covers tickets and attendance, club competitions, merchandise, the app, volunteering and sharing sponsor content.

02 / RANKING

A place in the community

The leaderboard shows the top participants and positions further down the list. The supporter’s total points and current place remain visible above the tabs.

03 / HISTORY

A record of participation

The history view pairs completed activities with dates and awarded points, giving supporters a record of how their participation contributes to their score.

Different ways to support the club

Examples from the designed ticket activity list. Individual tickets, bringing someone along and longer-term commitments each have a defined point value.

04 / DECISION STORY

From a business goal
to visible fan actions.

Challenge

More than matchday traffic

The club wanted to support ticket sales while encouraging people to return for news, social content and community activity.

Evidence

Analysis and workshops

The business case, stakeholder workshops and research clarified the commercial goals and the behaviours the experience needed to support.

Decision

Connect purchase and participation

I made upcoming matches and ticket actions prominent, then linked them with news, social channels and a points-based engagement programme.

Outcome

Both parts implemented

The website and “Wielka Gra Polonii” were delivered as one connected experience for supporters.

05 / DELIVERY

One club.
Both parts delivered.

The full scope was implemented: the club website and the gamification programme. The work brought ticket discovery, club content and fan participation into a connected experience.
